What a day we had at The Wisley Pro-Am for the Doublet Trophy, the sun was shinning all day, and the course was in pristine condition (as it always is)!
We had two teams tied for third place, Keith Fleming, Min Yee Tseu, Paul Tunnacliffe and their pro Max Jordan scored 84 stableford points on The Church & The Mill, as did Steve Green, Tom O’Byrne, John Terry and their pro Zane Scotland. We had to look at their scores on The Mill to find out who would claim the third place position. Their 44 points on The Mill puts Steve, Tom, John and Zane in the third place spot.
Our second place team was made up of half of our winning team from the 2021 event. Mo Carruthers and David Cope joined Andy Zhang and their pro Adam Gee for an excellent second place finish with a total of 88 points.
Our winning team of Jimmy Bullard, Jack Hayhoe, Jack Hillier and their pro Toby Tree came in with a sensational 96 stableford points over The Church & The Mill. Looking at their scorecard we found a total of 17 gross birdies and an eagle!
In the pro individual event we have Toby Tree and Dale Whitnell tied for third place with a two-under-par 70. We also had a tie for first place with Jordan Smith and Zane Scotland coming in with a great score of 69.
