The Wisley Pro-Am

11 June 2026

A wet start to the day gave way to clear skies for the remainder of the round, and with 92 players taking to The Garden & The Church, Thursday’s Pro-Am delivered one of the most memorable days of the season. A star-studded cast of DP World Tour and LET Tour professionals joined the membership for what proved to be an outstanding occasion, both competitively and in terms of the occasion itself. The event supports The Wisley Foundation, raising funds for local charities, and the turnout and quality of the day reflected the importance the club places on it.

Pro Individual Tournament

Only four players finished under par on a day when The Garden & The Church offered little in the way of generosity. Bronte Law finished fourth at one under par (71), a fine score in the conditions, and one that would prove relevant later in the day.

Ross Fisher, a Wisley member, and Sam Bairstow shared second place at two under par (70). Fisher’s round deserves particular mention; he found himself five over par through just five holes before producing a remarkable rally to finish in red figures.

The headline act, however, was The Wisley’s own Todd Clements. His seven under par 65 was regularly described by fellow professionals as a ridiculous score in these conditions, and it is difficult to argue with that assessment. Todd saved the most spectacular moment for the closing holes, holing out a 30-yard bunker shot on the par three Garden 8 for a birdie, before following it immediately with a holed chip on Garden 9 for another. A finish that brought the gallery to life and set the tone for the celebrations that followed.

Team Tournament

The team competition produced an equally tight finish at the top of the leaderboard. Team Law claimed victory with 86 Stableford points, with Teams Bairstow, Jordan and Clements all finishing level on 85 points, requiring countback to separate them. Team Bairstow took second on 43 points on the back nine, with Team Jordan third on 42 and Team Clements fourth on 40.

A tremendous occasion and a fitting tribute to everything the Pro-Am represents at The Wisley. Sincere thanks to all the professionals who gave their time and brought such quality and enthusiasm to the day, and to every member who took part in support of The Wisley Foundation.
