Continuing on his strong form after his Easter Tankards win three days earlier, Iqbal Dhanji wins the April Midweek Medal with a net-six-under-par 66. His eagle 2 on Church 8 along with a 2 on the challenging Mill 7 aided Iqbal in shooting a gross 76 which also wins him the low gross for the event.

Michael Chard followed three shots back with a net 69 which included a birdie on Mill 5. His gross 79 places Michael third in the low gross.

Mukund Patel and Ian Cartwright both tied for third place with a net-two-under-par 70. We had to look at their back-nine scores to find who would take the final podium spot. Mukund takes the third place position which leaves Ian in fourth.

Paul Hammond takes second place in the low gross with a 76 losing out on countback, his 40 over The Mill to Iqbal’s 37.

With this win Iqbal now races to the top of the Rank List 339.61 points ahead of Mdhav Dhar. Graham Stanley maintains his third place position.
