It was a spectacular day for golf which saw the sun shine over 112 Members who took part in the 2023 Easter Tankards. Early scores were promising with a few 40s and 41s coming in. In one of the later times however was Martin Collins & Ian Cartwright who took the win with 45 points. They had a very good start with 23 points over The Mill, their form continued through to the back-nine with another 22 points over The Garden.

Following closely behind with 44 points were Peter Conroy & Peter Harrison. They had a great front-nine of 24 points with Peter Harrison going on a three hole birdie run from Mill 4 through to Mill 6.

In third place taking the final podium position were Mike Christieson & Chris Ciauri who came in with a great score of 43 points.

After today’s event Chih Liu remains in the lead 68.5 points ahead of Dean Sayers who is still in second place. With this win Martin Collins moves into third place displacing David Allen who drops down to tied fifth with Ian Cartwright. With the second place finish in today’s event Peter Conroy moves up into the fourth place position, 264.5 points being Chih.
