Forty-two players took to The Garden & The Church on a hot and sunny afternoon for the Summer Pairs Fun Competition, competing across three different formats over six holes each. Best Ball, Aggregate and Scramble made for a varied and entertaining day’s golf, with the format changes keeping every partnership on their toes throughout.

Sebastian Pearce and James Copley claimed the title with a winning total of 55 Stableford points, built on 15 in the Best Ball, 26 in the Aggregate and 14 in the Scramble.

Colin Braid and Paul Ungaretti pushed them all the way, finishing just one point back on 54 points. Their Aggregate return of 29 was the standout score of the entire field across any single format section.

Diego Wauters and Tim Green rounded out the podium on 53 points, their Scramble section of 16 the best of the top three teams in that format, with 15 in the Best Ball and 22 in the Aggregate completing a consistent day across all three disciplines.
