The inaugural Summer Pairs Betterball brought 42 Members to the course under moody skies, battling swirling winds and intermittent showers throughout the round which was played over The Garden & The Church.
Despite the unsettled conditions, there was no shortage of quality scoring. Matthew Peck & Scott Livingston stormed to victory with an excellent 46 points, securing the top prize.
Three pairs finished tied on 43 points, but Robert Lambert & Michael Eddleston took second on countback with a strong 24-point back nine. Mike Christieson & Pasi Siitonen followed in third with 22 points, and Martin Botha & Jane Botha-Michels rounded out the top four with 21 points.
A great debut for this new summer fixture.
