A field of 93 Members took to The Garden & The Church for the final competition day of the 2025 season. The morning began under overcast skies and calm conditions before brightening into glorious autumn sunshine, a fitting end to another busy and successful year of competition at The Wisley.
Monthly Medal
It was Craig Horsford who came out on top, posting a composed net 68 (-4) to claim victory from the final pairing of the day. Håkan Erixon followed closely behind with a net 69 (-3) after a steady round marked by consistent play across both loops.

Behind them, the leaderboard was packed with competition, with an incredible six players tied for third place on net 71 (-1), meaning countback was required to separate the standings. Benjamin Roth and Joey Miller-Cheevers were initially inseparable, both posting net 34.5 over their back-nine, forcing the decision to move to the final six holes. It was Roth who edged ahead thanks to an excellent net 23.4 over that stretch, securing third place. He narrowly beat Miller-Cheevers, whose net 24 saw him share fourth alongside Susie Lee (net 36.5 back-nine), Peter Conroy (net 36), Neil Sharpe (net 37), and Mary Lane (net 37.5).
Tournament of Champions
The annual Tournament of Champions once again provided a fitting finale, bringing together winners from across the season. Mary Lane was first to reach the 19th tee, setting an early mark hitting her drive down the fairway, before Neil Sharpe took an aggressive line over the trees to cut the corner and take the lead.
It was, however, Craig Horsford who delivered the decisive moment. After holing out on 18, he took an iron from the 19th tee to stay in play, followed by two well-struck approach shots to leave himself 35 feet from the pin. His final shot finished just one foot short of the hole, securing victory and the Tournament of Champions Trophy to complete an exceptional double on the day.
Low Gross
In the Low Gross, Neil Sharpe continued his fine late-season form, winning with a one-over-par 73. Joey Miller-Cheevers finished runner-up on 74 (+2), while Christopher Rees, Alistair Brown, and Benjamin Roth each signed for 76 (+4) to round out the top three positions.

Rank List
An exciting conclusion to the 2025 Rank List saw late changes at the top as the season drew to a close. Derek Love retained his lead to finish as overall champion on 2027.63 points. The day’s standout performer, Craig Horsford, surged from 13th to second with a strong 650-point haul from his two wins, closing the gap to just 92.8 points.

Michael Chard completed the podium in third, with Alistair Brown and Benjamin Roth rounding out the top five after consistent performances throughout the year.
