Dear Member,
Advanced warning: we’ll be conducting the spring maintenance hollow coring works to the Pro Shop putting green next week. Only this green will be treated with the rest completed in late February/early March as advertised. Why do this green so early and on its own I hear you cry? Well, it gives us a very long time period in which to slowly gain recovery before we treat the range putting green later in spring. In doing so, the hope is that by the time the second practice green is hollow cored the pro-shop one has healed to a good standard for you to use. Even during the depths of winter we do get a trickle of growth so we can use this to our advantage. It does however mean a longer overall recovery time for this green, but the end point condition of it is a higher priority.
