An award-winning charity based in Guildford, Topic of Cancer supports pioneering cancer research by funding ground-breaking treatments and innovative clinical trials.

Recently, the Foundation provided vital funding for specialist gym equipment, enabling researchers to significantly expand their Exercise Immunotherapy Oncology trial. This pioneering study investigates how regular physical activity can strengthen the body’s immune response to tumours and improve the effectiveness of cancer treatments.

With only a small number of research centres in the UK leading work in this emerging field, the Foundation is proud to support such unique and forward-thinking research. Foundation Trustees met with the scientists and clinicians driving the project and are highly encouraged by the promising provisional results.
