The Wisley Foundation has contributed towards the funding of a ‘state of the art’ food technology room at the Pond Meadow SEN School in Bellfields, Guildford. This much needed provision of a professional catering environment will enable students to develop skills leading to employment opportunities in the workplace. They also hope to open a local community based café using the food tech kitchen on site.

The school provides education for Surrey children aged from 3 – 19 with a range of severe and complex learning disabilities (including complex medical needs). Emily Hayward, Principal at Pond Meadow, was thrilled with The Foundation’s pledge; “We would never have manged this without The Wisley Pledge, thank you so much”.
