Since September 2013, Primary Robins has brought music and singing into the lives of schoolchildren who have little exposure to it. Forty years ago, every primary school would have had children sitting around a piano learning songs. This essential part of growing up has been a casualty of today’s curriculum. Primary Robins has re-introduced this lifelong skill back into the classroom with weekly half hour classes for children.

In addition to providing songbooks for 10 Surrey primary schools, the Foundation was delighted to sponsor the Primary Robins Summer Concert which brought together children from 3 Surrey primary schools, for a concert held on the stage of the Grange Park Opera Theatre in West Horsley Place. The concert was uplifting and joyous for children and audience alike!
