The May Midweek Medal was played under tough conditions, with a consistent rain throughout the day testing those who took on The Garden & The Church.
In first place, Paul Weston secured victory with an impressive net 3-under-par 69.
Nicholas Squire, Aaron Clarke and Iain Everingham followed behind with a net level par round of 72 shots.
To determine the final two spots on the podium and split this three-way tie, it was required to go to countback on the final nine holes. Nicholas Squire claims second place, thanks to a second nine net score of 35 strokes. Following in third place is Iain Everingham, with a net score of 38 strokes, compared to Aaron Clarke’s net score of 39 strokes which leaves him in fourth place.
Low Gross
In the Low Gross category, James Copley and Aaron Clarke both finish with a round total of 77 (+5). Again it was required to revert to countback, this time over the final six holes. James claims first place with a score of (+1) whilst Aaron places second after a score of (+5). In third place, Alistair Brown with a gross score of 78 (+6).
