Conditions dried out following a wet start to the week with all 18 holes back in play. 81 players took to the course for the first Rank List counting event of the season.

In the first group of the day Jignesh Patel cemented himself at the top of the leaderboard where he remained for the competition. With a score of net five-under-par 67, Jignesh wins the March Monthly Medal.

Only one player got very close, Christopher Topple takes second place with a score of net four-under-par 68.

Three players tied for third place. Michael Chard, Zaid Esmail and Chris Ashworth all scored net level-par rounds of 72. To break the tie we need to look at their back-nine scores. With a net score of 33.5 on The Mill, Zaid claims the third place spot.

Michael’s net 35 and Chris’ net 37.5 place them tied for fourth.

With this win Jignesh takes the lead in the Rank List, 125 points ahead of Christopher in second, and 200 points ahead of Zaid in third.
