66 Members took part in the March Midweek Stableford which was played over The Mill & The Garden, the morning started with a bitterly cold wind which gradually subsided as the day went by with the sun coming out for the afternoon players.

In the last group that went out was Dave Allen who takes the win with 40 stableford points, 22 of these points were over The Garden.

In second place we had Colin Armstrong, Alan Thomas and Nic Lee all tied with 38 points. We had to look at their scores on The Garden to break the tie. Both Alan and Nic scored 20 points on their back-nine, and 14 points on their last six which means it came down to the final three holes. Alan’s 7 points on the last three holes gives him the second place position and Nic’s 6 points places him in third. Colin had 19 points on The Garden which puts him in fourth.

In the Rank List Chih Liu remains in first place with 500 points, Dean Sayers narrows the gap now only 68.5 points behind Chih. With his win David Allen takes the third place positions 150 points behind Chih.
