
A large field of members took to The Garden & The Church for this month’s Midweek Medal. Early tee times enjoyed calm wind but cooler temperatures, however the rest of the field saw conditions become more challenging throughout the day with rising winds.
Daryl Cook takes advantage of early conditions to card a net 70 (-2) and claim first place. Following closely behind Daryl in second place is James Copley with a net 71 (-1). Finally, Paul Copson occupies third place and the final spot on the podium with a net round of 73 (+1).
Low Gross
James Copley claims first place with a gross score of 74 (+2). Following behind tied in second place are Alistair Brown and Ian Nickoll with a score of 77 (+5).

Michael Chard remains firmly at the top of the Rank List having accumulated 72.65 points with his T15 finish in today’s Medal sitting at 572.6, though Daryl Cook’s winning performance on Tuesday, worth 350 points, sees him consolidate second place on 417.17 points. Cook now sits 155.43 points behind Chard.
Chris Sceats holds third on 375 points from two events, with Peter Conroy and James Copley tied just behind on 347.62 and 321.8 points respectively. Copley’s strong showing this week, worth 275 points, will provide a timely boost as the season builds towards its conclusion.
