March Midweek Medal Winner

An overcast sky and a chilly wind greeted the 68 players competing in the March Midweek Medal, played over The Mill & The Garden.

Medal

Daniel Palmer claimed victory with a net three-under-par 69, winning on countback thanks to his net 33.5 on the back-nine. James Copley also finished on 69, taking second place with a net 34.

In third place was Mary Lane, who carded a net two-under-par 70, edging out the tie on countback with a net 34.5 knocking Chris Sceats and Paul Copson into a tie for fourth, both finish on 70, with net 35 on the back-nine.

With the March Midweek Medal complete, the Rank List begins to take shape: Neil Sharpe maintains his lead with 500 points, with Robin Choudhury following in second on 375 points. Helen Heasman jumps into third place with 360 points, while Daniel Palmer, with his win this week, climbs into fourth on 350 points.
