Breezy conditions and firm greens created a challenge for all during this month’s Midweek Stableford competition. The event was held over The Church & The Mill with a cool morning start and progressed in to a sunny yet windy afternoon for members. James Copley overcame the fast pace of the greens to claim first place with a result of 38 points, thanks to three birdies on the scorecard.
In a three-way tie for second place, Andrew Wolton finishes ahead of Gary Pocock and Brad Koen after countback on the final three holes, thanks to Andrew’s 7 points. Gary’s 6 points places him in third place. Both players scored 14 points over the final six holes, whilst Brad finished with 10 points – leaving him in fourth place.
