July Midweek Medal Winner

14 July 2026

Seventy-eight members took to The Garden & The Church on Tuesday, starting from the 10th and playing in reverse order. A cloudy and breezy start gave way to sunshine as the round progressed, with temperatures rising through the afternoon to make for a thoroughly pleasant day’s golf by the back nine.

Medal

The top of the leaderboard required countback to separate a cluster of players who finished level, making for a tense conclusion to the day’s scoring.

Colin Armstrong and Peter Gray both finished at three under par net (69), with Armstrong claiming first place on a back nine of 36 to Gray’s 36.5. It was a fine performance from both players in the breezy morning conditions.

Three players finished level on two under par net (70), with countback again required to separate them. Joey Miller-Cheevers claimed third place on a back nine of 33, with Adrian Langham fourth on 35 and Jane McKenzie fifth on 35.5.

Low Gross

Joey Miller-Cheevers completed a fine double by claiming the Low Gross title with an even par 72, the standout ball-striking performance of the day. Tim Green finished second on one over par (73), with Peter Gray third on two over (74), adding yet another prize to what was an excellent day for both players.

Hole-In-One

A special mention to Mitchell Ingram, who made a hole-in-one on The Garden 8th today.

Congratulations Mitchell!
