Conditions were extremely challenging for the first stableford of the year which was played over The Church & The Mill. The rain fell sideways thanks to gusting winds, yet the competitors persevered.
John Davis came in with an excellent score of 37 points and claimed the win for the first event of the year!
Playing in the final group of the day Stephen Goldman took the second place position with 34 points.
In third we had two players tied with 33 points, Keith Mullins and Jane Botha-Michels. We had to look at their scores on The Mill to determine who would claim the final podium position.
It was Jane’s 18 points that gives her this honour, narrowly beating Keith’s 16 points.
