Dear Members,

It is with great sadness we inform you that Alan Best, a Wisley Member of almost 23 years, passed away on the evening of Sunday, 4th September.

Alan joined The Wisley in 1999, followed by his wife Margaret in 2000, and was an extremely active member in both competitions and social events for many years. Alan won the Super Seniors Competition in 2012 and was a part of the ‘Swandowners’ , a group of regular Members who played a friendly competition and had a Clubroom lunch several times a week.

Our thoughts are with Alan’s family and friends during this difficult time.
