Having been promised temperatures of around 13 degrees by the forecast, Members braved what felt like arctic conditions as a cold southerly wind blew through the course all day. Our winner was in the final group of the day, with an impressive score of net five-under-par 67 over The Church & The Mill, Tony Morgan wins the February Midweek Medal.
Tied for second place with scores of net three-under-par 69s were Doug King and Jeffrey Wehner. We had to look at their scores over The Mill to break the tie and determine who will take the second and third place positions. With a net score of 34 on The Mill, Jeffrey claims the second place spot. Doug’s net 36 places him in third.
In the Low Gross competition Ash Mathur and Stewart Ford both came in with gross 75s. In third place was Philip Jansen with a gross score of 76.
