The warmest day of the year so far, with temperatures reaching 16°C, provided an ideal backdrop for the February 14 Index + played over The Garden & The Mill. After a cool start to the season, the sunshine and calmer conditions were a welcome change — and scoring reflected the improved weather.

It was Stephen Goldman who led the way, producing a strong round of 38 Stableford points to claim victory. Solid scoring throughout kept him ahead of the chasing pack on a day where momentum was key.

Aadesh Pokharel followed in second with an impressive 36 points, while Iain Everingham secured third on 33. Just behind, a tightly grouped trio of Iain Wallace, Trevor Johnson, and Ping Zhang each finished on 32 points to share fourth place.

With firming fairways and receptive greens, it proved an enjoyable and competitive midweek contest, highlighted by close scoring throughout the field.
