On Thursday 21st August The Wisley’s Conor Cull birdied 9 of the last 10 holes in winning the PGA South Region Assistants and Trainees Championship at Clandon Regis. His round of 11-under par 61 is the new course record and gave him a six-shot margin over his nearest challenger.
Growing up nearby and playing his junior golf at West Byfleet Golf Club, Conor started working in Golf Operations at The Wisley in a part-time role at the age of 16. He went on to play college golf in America, maintaining a summertime position here. Since his return he has taken up a full-time role.
Congratulations Conor on a fantastic round and well deserved win!
