A quick note to congratulate The Wisley’s Head Coach, Benn Barham, on a strong return to competitive golf at last week’s Staysure Senior Tour Legends event at Chart Hills.

The venue, Chart Hills, was Benn’s home Club in his early days as a PGA Member, prior to spending 10 years on the DP World Tour as a full time player, as such to be asked to support the tournament and elevate the event made this a particularly special occasion for Benn.

After some 15 years away from tournament golf, Benn finished tied 20th in a strong field that included Ryder Cuppers, Lee Westwood, Peter Baker and Stephen Gallacher, Benn’s Saturday 69 in wet and windy conditions rolled back the years and proved that the time he spends helping The Wisley members work on their own games has not kept him away from keeping his own game up to tour standard, well played, Benn!
