What started out as a grey morning, the day turned to sunshine with a challenging breeze to see out Martin Botha as Club Captain and welcome in Stuart Owens. Martin almost holed his putt out but ended up taking three to finish the hole after his first putt ran past the cup to about 7 feet.

The main event of the day was the Hook-a-Duck which was manned by our incoming Captain Stuart. The winning team with most ducks hooked was Michael Chard, Alistair Lines, Derek Love and Alan Thomas. The individual winner with a total of 6 ducks hooked was Stuart Loggie.

In the crazy golf Peter Gray, Keith Fleming, Mo Carruthers and Sue Noble win with a total of 14 putts over the six holes.

In the 18 hole Blackpool Scramble team event in second place with an 18.5 under par 53.5 we have Hugh Keeble, Tony Morgan, Brendan Nelson and Tina Morrison Sinclair.

Our winning team with a score of 21.4 under par 50.6 are Max Jordan, Philip Gregory, Andrew Bacon and Fran Thomas.

Please join us in wishing Stuart all the best in his Captaincy.
