A total of 59 members took part in this year’s Bank Holiday Family Challenge, played over The Church & The Mill. After a week of warm sunshine, players were met with a sharp drop in temperature, overcast skies, and showers arriving toward the end of the round.

Taking top honours with a superb score of 89 points was the team of Luke Jones, Michael Cawthra, Raphael Cawthra, and Louella Jones.

In second place, finishing with 85 points, was the team of Scott Lloyd, Tim Hubbard, Jed Lloyd, and Ralph Hubbard.

Robin and Julia Choudhury, Frank Reed, and Claire Corrigan secured third place with 84 points.

A tie for fourth on 82 points was shared by the teams of Michael and Jack Chard, Ragnar and Joey Horn, and Roger Gundry, Alan Thomas, Mike Trollope, and Fran Thomas.

Despite the weather, it was a fun and competitive day out for families across the club.
