A large turnout for this month’s Midweek Medal saw exceptional play over The Mill & The Garden with light gusts characterising late-morning and afternoon play.

Iain Wallace demonstrated to be the golfer to beat by posting an impressive net round of 62 (-10), going on to claim first place. The victory was owed to a strong back nine performance which included a birdie on the par-4 16th (Garden 7). The nearest competitors behind Iain were seven shots behind with the remaining places being decided on countback.

Three players finished with a net round of 69 (-3) with Colin Braid claiming second place thanks to a final six-hole score of 23 shots. In third place we have Neil Sharpe with a final six-hole score of 24 shots. George Hidge finishes in fourth place following a second-nine net score of 36.

Low Gross

Neil Sharpe claims first place in the Low Gross category, thanks to a final score of 70 (-2). In second place, Alice Jonsson finishes with a score of 75 (+3). Finally, in third place we have Colin Braid with a gross score of 77 (+5).

Rank List

Daryl Cook remains at the top of the Rank List with 1,519.45 points with Darren Wills and Peter Gray in pursuit. Colin Braid moves into the top-10 thanks to this week’s performance with 1,158.69 points.
