71 players took to The Church & The Mill for the August Midweek Medal, it was a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day with the wind picking up for the afternoon players. Ian Grobler emerges as the winner with a score of net one-under-par 71.

Following closely behind was Nicholas Chappell and Paul Ungaretti with net one-over-par 73s. To break the tie we had to look at each player’s back-nine score. With a net score of 33.5 over The Mill, Paul takes the second place spot.

With a net 35.5 on The Mill, Nicholas claims the final podium position.

In the Low Gross we had three players, Stewart Ford, Ian Grobler and Neil Sharpe all tied in first place with five-over-par 77s.

Following today’s event Peter Harrison remains in the lead, 32.02 points ahead of Neil Sharpe who also remains in his second place position. Daryl Cook remains in third place 96.87 points behind Peter. With this win, Ian jumps up the Rank List into fifth place, having previously been in twenty-fourth place.
