Midweek Medal

A cold, grey, and breezy morning with passing showers made for a tough start at this week’s Midweek Medal. However, those conditions didn’t faze Nicolas Galperin, who kept his composure throughout the round. As the sun finally broke through for the later starters, the wind persisted, keeping scoring conditions tricky.

Nicolas produced an excellent round of net 67 (-5) to top the leaderboard, followed closely by Colin Braid on net 68 (-4). Helen Heasman completed the podium with a steady net 69 (-3).

Low Gross

In the Low Gross, Colin Braid took top honours with a fine round of 75 (+3). Arron Shepherd followed in second with a 77 (+5), and a three-way tie for third saw Warren Kwei, Nicolas Galperin, and Benjamin Roth each post 78 (+6).

Rank List

With the latest results in, Michael Chard holds firm at the top of the table with 1,340.28 points. Paul Weston remains in pursuit, sitting 116.84 points behind in second place. Derek Love climbs into third with 1,123.38 points, narrowly ahead of Roderick Lane in fourth. A strong showing from Helen Heasman this week sees her move into the top five, now with 1,014.83 points. The race for the Rank List crown continues to heat up as the summer season rolls on.
