Medal

80 Members competed in the June Monthly Medal, played over The Garden & The Church. The weather proved a tale of two halves—overcast skies greeted the early starters, while the sun broke through for those in the later groups, making for a more pleasant second half of the field.

Lars Torpe Christoffersen delivered the round of the day, finishing with a superb net 67 (-5) to take the win.

Stuart Ross followed in second place with a solid net 70 (-2).

There was a three-way tie for third on net 71 (-1), which had to be separated by countback. Scott Livingston secured third place with a better final six holes (final nine 36.5, final six 23.34), narrowly edging out Michael Chard (final nine 37) and Benjamin Roth (final nine 36.5, final six 23.67), who shared fourth place.

Low Gross

William Ashdown topped the Low Gross standings with a round of 76 (+4).

Mike Clokie took second place with 77 (+5), while Benjamin Roth rounded out the top three with a 78 (+6).

Rank List 

Paul Weston continues to lead the Rank List with 1114.44 points. Derek Love remains in second on 1053.13 points, now 61.31 points off the lead. Michael Chard climbs to third with 1040.28 points, closing the gap thanks to a strong showing. Roderick Lane and Craig Horsford round out the top five with 926.25 and 895.63 points respectively.
