The Ladies Invitation Day made its long-awaited return this year, held for the first time since 2016. Played as a Pairs Stableford over The Garden & The Church, the event welcomed a fantastic field of ladies and their guests, some experiencing the club for the first time.

Despite a cloudy start and the threat of rain, the weather held, with the occasional ray of sunshine breaking through to brighten the afternoon.

Taking the top spot with a superb 44 points was the pair of Christine Williams & Sarah Jansen.

Just one point behind, Masumi Dobson & Mari Hasting claimed second place on countback with 21 points on the back nine, edging out Helen Hall & Sue Symons, who also scored 43 points with 20 points on the back nine.

Jo Owens & Karen Young followed closely with 42 points, finishing just outside the prizes.
