The November Midweek Medal, over The Church & The Mill, was a test of endurance and determination. Under a grey, overcast sky, with biting cold and rain throughout the day, conditions proved too much for many. The field began strong with 66 players, but as the rain persisted, the numbers dwindled to 41 by the time the last group teed off. Only 30 hardy players braved the elements to complete their rounds.

Colin Armstrong and Alistair Lines tied for the lead with net level-par 72, leading to a countback to decide the winner. Alistair claimed victory with a net 36 on The Mill, leaving Colin in second place with a net 38.6. In the penultimate group of the day, Alistair Brown secured third place with a net two-over-par 74.

In the Low Gross competition, Alistair Brown took the title with an excellent score of 75, while Peter Gray placed second with a gross score of 80.
