July Monthly Medal Winner

The sun shone on all the Members who took part in July’s Monthly Medal, providing excellent scoring conditions.

William Ashdown made the most of these conditions and shot a level par 72 gross to with the event with a net score of 67. Placing him as the winner of the July Monthly Medal and the Low Gross winner.

Teeing off in one of the later groups was Philip Hughes, who came in with a net three-under-par 69 to claim the second place spot.

Four players all tied for third place with gross scores of net one-under-par 71. We had to look at the back-nine scores of Susie Lee, Paul Weston, Chris Ashworth and Mike Danson to find out who would take the final podium spot.

With a net score of 35.5 over The Church, Mike claims third place. Beating Susie’s net 37, Paul’s net 37.5, and Chris’ net 38.

Low Gross

With a gross score of 72 William wins the Low Gross. Thomas Greenhalgh follows in second place with 76, and Julian N Smith and Mike Clokie tie for third with 78.
