Despite some warnings of thunderstorms the day before the event, the 88 Members and Guests that took part in the 2024 Invitation day enjoyed a lovely day of golf and food with some light drizzle being the worst the weather had to offer.

It was a very close leaderboard with three teams all tying for first place with 43 points over The Church & The Mill.

The winning team with 25 points on their back-nine was Nadeem Mir and his guest Richard Gibbs. Although it was a slow start with four points over their first three holes, Nadeem and Richard proceed to set themselves as the winners with their strong scoring on The Mill.

Mike Danson and Matt De Gruchy claim the second place position, with a solid 21 points over The Mill.

In third place with a respectable 19 points on final nine holes is Tom Davis and Sebastian Macdonald Hall.

The following players won the nearest to the pin competition.

Church 3 (Guest) – Jim Pattison
