The Charity Team Challenge Winners

3 October 2023

A great day was had for the Charity Team Challenge with 24 teams competing in the days event with the sole aim of raising money for The Wisley Foundation. A large level of support was shown for the foundation with many participants keeping a keen eye on the auction. A huge thanks to London Wall Partners who once again have very kindly supported the event.

In a closely contested competition, Stuart Owens, Jo Owens, Malcolm Headley, and Georgina Headley secured the victory with a total of 89 points. Their impressive win was determined by countback, where they scored 47 points on The Mill, showcasing their skill on this challenging course.

A mere fraction behind, the team of Tim Dawes, Cindy Dawes, Fiona Hockless, and Ludwig Krause also accumulated 89 points. They clinched the second spot, narrowly missing the top spot on countback with 45 points on The Mill.

In the race for third place, Mark Smith, Ben Thatcher, James Parker, and Nigel Gills put up a spirited fight, also finishing with 89 points. Ultimately, the countback placed them in third position, as they secured 43 points on The Mill.
