The early morning players certainly received more favourable weather conditions with the overcast sky turning to rain in the afternoon. Two of these early players were Martin Collins and Paul Weston who both scored 43 points over The Church & The Mill. We had to look at their back-nine score to find out who would take the first place position. Martin’s 22 points was just enough, narrowly beating Paul’s 21 points for the winning spot.
We again had players tied for the final podium position. Stewart Whitehead, Peter Conroy and Lars Torpe Christoffersen all scored 39 points and it was their scores over The Mill that will decide their position on the leaderboard. Peter’s 19 points places him in third place. Lars’ 18 points and Stewart’s 16 points places them in a tie for fourth place.
