“Leatherhead Golf course proved to be continuously tricky after the practice round, however, our team never stopped smiling and laughing despite the adversities of evil bounces & divots and graciously coped with the challenges. We didn’t have a great score today (surprisingly), but definitely had the best team atmosphere. I was a very proud captain for team’s best effort on difficult game of foursomes on alien golf course. [We had] a magnificent tee shot on par 4 from Min Yee (250 yards uphill on par 4 next to the flag) which we couldn’t take for the score as it was a provisional ball and bad luck, we found the original ball in thick rough —which was earlier bounced backwards by a passing car & a van — yes it was definitely an adventure on the golf course today. The team is looking forward to playing The Wisley with less adventurous nature of golf balls.P.S. The club also donated a Wisley charity voucher to Surrey Ladies County Golf which collected over £1,800 through raffles for the Surrey Junior Golf Program. Thank you Wisley!”
