It was another glorious day at The Wisley for the Platinum Jubilee Family Challenge. A fun day to play golf with family and celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
Our winners today with 89 stableford points over The Mill & The Garden was the team of Mo Carruthers, Chloe Carruthers, John Langston and Kevin Langston. With a back-nine of only 38 points, they accumulated the majority of their score on The Mill with a total of 51 points on their front-nine.
The team of Diego Wauters, Jeremy Wauters, Rob Whittick and Rick Foti along with the team of Robin Choudhury, Julia Choudhury, Hakan Erixon and Freddie Erixon tied with 87 points. Their position on the podium came down to their score on The Garden. The Robin, Julia, Hakan and Freddie claim the second place position on countback with 43 points on The Garden. Diego, Jeremy, Rob, and Rick take the final spot on the podium with 42 points on The Garden.
The team of Margaret Blain, Jonathan Blain, and Fredi Penniket-Dessent and the team if Thomas Raber, Nils Raber, Victor Raber and Colin Braid both scored 83 points. Margaret’s team had a blind player assigned to them via a random draw, it turned out to be none other than Colin Braid whose score helped place both teams in a tie for fourth. We had to look at the back-nine once again to decide who took the final payout position. Thomas, Nils, Victor and his adopted son Colin claim this spot with 45 points on The Garden. Margaret’s, Jonathan’s, Fredi’s and Colin’s 41 places them in fifth place.
In the nearest to the pin competitions Iqbal Dhanji claims the honour on Garden 3, Victor Raber claims the honour on Mill 5.
