The first Monthly Medal of the season went ahead after January’s cancellation due to weather, with over 60 Members braving wet and testing conditions across The Garden & The Church. Despite the challenging underfoot conditions, scoring remained competitive and produced a tightly packed leaderboard.

Medal

At the top, it was Jon Horsford who claimed victory after finishing on net 71 (-1), taking first place on countback thanks to a net 35.5 over his back nine. Adam Bandeen also signed for net 71, but finished second after posting a net 37.5 on the closing nine.

William Ashdown followed closely in third with a net 73 (+1), while Robert Aldridge, Ian Nickoll, and Guy Holt all shared fourth place on net 74 (+2), rounding out a strong return to medal competition for the season.

Low Gross

In the Low Gross, honours were shared, with William Ashdown, Neil Sharpe, and Darragh Sidhu all carding 76 (+4) to finish tied for first place in difficult conditions.

Hole-In-One

A special mention goes to Cary Dawes, who recorded a hole-in-one on Garden 3. Remarkably his second ace in the space of just two weeks. A fantastic achievement and a highlight of the day.
