It was an excellent day for golf with the sun shining all day. We had a full field of 40 members and 40 guests for our first Invitation in over two years after the Covid pandemic did not allow us to host the event in 2020 and 2021.
Peter Hockless and his guest Nick Fletcher took first place scoring 45 points over The Mill & The Garden. Peter set the momentum for the round starting birdie, birdie on Garden 6 and 7.
Philip Donald with his guest, Roger Guy, and Oscar Perche with his guest, Abby Akarra, both came in with 44 points. Both teams tied their back-nine with 21 points and final six holes with 14 points so it came down to the final three. Philip and Roger claim the second place position with 8 points on last three holes. This places Oscar and Abby in third with 6 points on the last three holes.
Vicky Fairweather and Zaskia Zoet claim the fourth place position with 43 points.
Vicky also takes the members nearest to the pin on Garden 3.
Nicki Fillingham wins the guest neares to the pin on Mill 5.
Joe O’Keefe had the guest longest drive on Garden 4.
Jack Hillier wins the members longest drive on Mill 3.
We would like to thank all members who took part and hope your guests enjoyed their day at The Wisley.
